Pressure Creates Diamonds

By Evan Sanders

There's an old saying that goes something along the lines of...

A diamond is a chunk of coal that handled pressure extraordinarily well.

Everyone is faced with pressure.

Sometimes it comes from the inside. Sometimes it comes from the outside. But the truth is it can either destroy you or make you. It can drive you to become better or it can drive you to become worse.

Everything in our lives comes down to making a choice.

The big difference maker between those who move forward in life and those who stay stuck is in how they handle and view the pressure.

So how are you going to handle the pressure?

The first person takes the position of victim and lets everything fall apart around him or her. They let their relationships fall apart, they stop taking care of themselves, they lose their integrity and start withering away.

The second person decides that they are going to step right into whatever has come their way and face it head on. They tip their hat to the pressure, acknowledge it, and decide that they are going to get through it no matter what...and why?

They know that the pressure makes them stronger and better.

If only we could all have this attitude about life.

Remember, we all face pressure.

Never lose sight of the fact that you aren't alone in the world and that everyone has issues.

But here's the thing. There's something deep inside of us that wants us to bring out our gifts that we have been given. If we succumb to the pressures of life, those gifts may stay hidden inside forever.

So for those brave souls who are willing to face the heat, you will make the world change in ways that have never been seen before.

And for the final piece of the puzzle...

You will start requesting challenges because you know they make you stronger.

You will ask the heavens above to give you what you need to become the person you were destined to be.

When you come to this place, you will see your challenges as a great gift.

The choice is really yours.

Break to pieces...or turn into a diamond?

Diamonds...
