Dug Addiction: What Can We Learn From People That Have Gone Down That Path?

By North Elliot

As a child, your mama was always there for you. As she aged, she got depressed. Your daddy left her and now she is all alone. How can you help her when she drowns herself in sorrow each day? Many addicts feel like there life is over for many different reasons. It is sad to see an addict crying and feeling like there life doesn't matter.

People often forget that they are a new creation every single day. Some people like to feel this and at other times they don't. It is important to understand that in life, there are obstacles that we always face. Sometimes these obstacles get the best of us and at other times they don't.

I find that obstacles are troublesome to our personal wellbeing. If find that its necessary to change what we know to be true in our lives. Our life is not meant to be battered with tears. We are meant to walk through life feeling more free today than we did yesterday. Life can be challenging at times.

We take on new approaches to change our circumstances and try to work with new beginnings. I personally like to think of life as being something that makes sense. In reality, we must never forget about our faith. Our faith is actually what keeps us together. In time, we will look back on our circumstances and see that we can work out our differences.

As each day passes, we tend to think of life as being something that we can control. However, life is often out of our control and therefore should not be sad when things do not go our way. We need to look at life as being a situation in which we can control ourselves. Our lives do matter and God opens doors when we least expect. Learn how to trust in God and take on new challenges as we walk through life each and every day.
